Another technique that many leaders and business professionals find helpful is to consider the audience. Some questions you could ask yourself before you have a difficult discussion include:

  1. What do I know about this person?

  2. What do I know about how this person communicates?

  3. What is the best time or place to communicate with this person?

Such questions will help you communicate effectively.

Thank you! Both the video and questions are very helpful. I have heard you share that information before, and I definitely have benefited from it.
